Terms of Service
Plain-English terms for using this website and working with us. Your project proposal is always the authoritative agreement.

Who we are
Norvis Tech ("we", "us") is a web development and digital services business based in Georgina, Ontario, Canada. These terms cover your use of this website and, at a high level, how we work with clients. Individual projects are governed by their own written proposals and agreements.
Quotes & proposals
Quotes we provide are fixed for the scope described in them. If the scope changes mid-project, we'll flag it, price the change, and get your approval before doing additional billable work. No surprise invoices — that's the whole point.
Payments
Project work typically requires a deposit to begin, with the balance due at launch or per the milestones in your proposal. Monthly plans (hosting, care, SEO) are billed in advance and can be cancelled with 30 days' notice unless your agreement says otherwise.
Ownership
Once a project is paid in full, you own the deliverables: your website, your content, your design, and — for custom software — your source code. We may retain the right to showcase the work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
Client responsibilities
You're responsible for the accuracy of content you provide, for having the rights to materials you supply (logos, photos, text), and for timely feedback during projects. Delays in feedback can shift launch dates.
Warranties & limitations
We build carefully and stand behind our work, fixing defects in delivered work promptly. However, we can't guarantee specific business outcomes, search rankings, or uninterrupted third-party services (hosting providers, AI APIs, etc.). To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in question.
Website content
Content on this website is provided for general information and may change without notice. Prices shown are typical starting points in Canadian dollars; your quote is the authoritative price for your project.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.
